We design and build the rail tracks that bring the railroad into an industrial park. A park with rail service can offer its tenants the ability to ship and receive by rail without each one building its own connection.

In every park we solve three pieces:

  • Main line connection: turnouts and signaling approved by the railroad.
  • Siding: a track parallel to the main line where the train drops off loaded railcars and picks up empties without blocking the line.
  • Lead track: the track that enters the park and reaches the buildings.

Projects in this category:

  • Puerta del Norte: feasibility study, construction documents, permitting with SCT and KCSM, and 3 km of track with sidings and signaled No. 11 turnouts.
  • Propark Industrial Park: lead track, interior siding and support siding, with 100 lb/yd welded rail and concrete ties.
  • Pyme Laredo Logistics Industrial Park, Tamaulipas: a Tamaulipas State Government project with a lead track running directly into a cross-dock building. A cross dock is a building where cargo moves from the railcar to the truck without being stored.

For terminals inside a park, also check out our rail transfer terminal projects.

Does your industrial park need rail service?

Tell us where the park is located, which railroad runs nearby and how many buildings you want to connect. We will propose a feasibility study.
