Shuttlewagon Commander NXT
The Commander NXT is Shuttlewagon’s new generation: it moves up to 4,130 tons with a Cummins Stage 5 engine. Its patented ShuttleLaunch system applies torque to the wheels at start-up to reduce wheel slip and extend tire life. It is narrower than the SWX and handles curves of up to 60 degrees, for yards with limited space.
Shuttlewagon Commander SWX
The Commander SWX is the series that preceded the NXT and is still in operation in many yards in Mexico. We provide service, spare parts and rental of SWX units, such as the SWX420 and SWX525.
Shuttlewagon Navigator
The Navigator is the most powerful family: it moves up to 6,000 tons with up to 60,000 pounds of tractive effort, equivalent to a 100-ton locomotive. It is designed for yards with long trains or grades, and can operate in tandem with another unit using Shuttle-Sync.
Shuttlewagon Electric
Shuttlewagon electric railcar movers are battery-powered and move from 110 to 4,500 tons. The compact SWXe series is easy to operate and requires little maintenance; the Navigator NVX-e moves up to 40 loaded or empty railcars for operations that require battery power.
We provide preventive and corrective maintenance for Shuttlewagon railcar movers with factory-trained technicians, through annual plans or on a per-event basis. Periodic inspections reduce failures and extend equipment life.
We supply genuine Shuttlewagon spare parts and critical spare parts kits, with inventory in Mexico for immediate delivery.
We train your operators with DC-3 certification and install ShuttleTrak telematics (GPS monitoring of location, hours and alarms) and the Air Knife system, which improves adhesion to move more railcars in wet or winter conditions.
