Construction
Track construction included one track to the ship area and two spurs to the unloading area with a frame-type traveling crane. Construction included earthwork, culverts, at-grade crossings, concrete choked track inside the ship, and rail construction. Track construction included three No. 10 115RE Conrail railroad ties. The tracks were constructed with concrete sleepers with RNY fastening, and 115RE rail welded on concrete ballasted track. Wooden sleepers 7x9x9x9 with standard fastening were used on curves greater than 4°.
