Design and Construction
Design and engineering of a terminal with the capacity to dispatch 800 cars per day in 92 Automax. The terminal required a buffer lane, a receiving lane, a dispatch lane, two loading lanes, and a car repair lane. Mechanical soil studies, environmental impact studies, and hydrological studies were performed. Formalities with CNA, SCT, FXE and Semarnat.
Construction included earthworks of 300,000 m³, hydraulic base, asphalt roads, car loading pads, drainage based on French drains and pipes, lighting, prefabricated concrete perimeter fence, two 25 m span railroad bridges, 8,000 m of tracks with elastic concrete fastening with 115RE welded rail and ballasted track, as well as 8 sets of No. 10 AREMA FXE switches and 2 sets of No. 15 AREMA FXE switches in the connection with the main track.
