Design and construction of track for Industrial Park
Services
Design, permits, track construction, No. 11 BNSF switch sets, switch set signaling with J7 system, aluminothermic welding of rail, stress relieving.
Design and Construction
Feasibility study for the track construction project, executive design, and permitting with the SCT and KCSM. The construction of 3 km of track included the interior tracks and sidings along the main line, as well as the switch sets connecting them to the main line. The connections to the main line were made with No. 11 BNSF UP 115RE switch sets signaled with the J7 system. The ties used on the tracks were concrete with RNY elastic fastening, standard welded 115RE rail, and AREMA No. 4 granite ballast. In curves greater than 4°, oak wood ties with classic fastening were installed.
