Description
The RBM 11 BNSF UP Toad is an essential part of the rail system, facilitating the transition of wheels from one track to another, commonly known as “common crossing”. Forming a crucial part of the track switching hardware, this toad occupies the area where two rails intersect, highlighted by its nose and wing rails.
These manganese steel toads are equipped with a substantial insert section and a heavier-walled manganese steel center, adapting to more severe service environments. Manufactured to BNSF UP standards, they are designed to meet or exceed all requirements necessary to resist impact and wear at railroad crossings.
