Extraordinary event organized by the League of Railway Women at Vallon Logistics. This event not only highlighted the talent and dedication of women in the rail industry, but also their significant impact on our industry.

This event brought together leading women from various companies in the rail industry, who participated in informative and practical sessions on crucial industry topics.

Benjamin Campero Rodriguez, who gave a detailed and technical overview of the structure and maintenance of railway tracks.

 

Fernando Montesinos took over with his presentation on how to operate a rail yard, providing participants with essential knowledge for the efficient and safe management of these crucial spaces for railway operation.

 

In addition, Mr. James Nagel and Mr. Alex Rechy offered a session on the operation of a Shuttlewagon Mobile Railcar Movers, an indispensable piece of equipment for the movement of railcars within rail yards. The participants not only learned theory, but also had the opportunity to perform practical tests on the tugs, experiencing first-hand their operation.

 

This event would not have been possible without the dedication and effort of LRW, led by Linda Hernandez and Lucy Puente, who, together with Track Speq and Elda Flores, director of Vallon Logistics, organized this successful event.

 

The participants were delighted with the quality of the presentations and the hands-on learning opportunities, strengthening their skills and confidence in handling railway equipment.
