Introducing our specialized Transition Rail, with a 26′ length, designed to provide a smooth transition between 136 Lbs to 115 Lbs rails.
Transition Rails 115RE to 135RE are used to ensure a safe and efficient connection between rails of different section, seeking to eliminate compromise plates. These are fabricated from two different rail sections specially forged to join the two rail sections. The rail forging occurs at the end of one of the two rail sections. They are ideal for continuous welded rail (CWR) installations. When ordering these rails, the hand, length, rail sections to be joined and special treatment to be applied must be specified.
