Description
The Manganese Steel Toad #20 is a key part of the railroad system, also known as the “common crossing”, which facilitates the movement of wheels from one track to another. An essential part of the track switching hardware, it occupies the space where two rails intersect, featuring a nose and wing rails.
These manganese steel toads are provided with a substantial insert section and feature a heavier-walled manganese steel core, adapting to more severe service environments. Manufactured to BNSF UP standards, they are designed to meet or exceed all requirements necessary to resist impact and wear at railroad crossings.
